Due to a practical problem, ie at the moment we are in our winter home in Belgium and the guest book with lovely comments from the Summer 2010 is still on Crete, we are unable to provide any comments for the 2010 season. Our apologies.

What a welcome, midnight and still being offered a meal. Where else can
you get this kind of service? We were presented with luxurious
breakfasts, an excellent service in our luxurious apartment, not at all
comparable to a hotel room.
With lots of fond memories we return to Belgium, but not until we enjoyed a paella a la Dominique tonight.
Conclusion: we had a wonderful holiday, partly because of the beautiful weather, but mainly because of your hospitality. Efcharisto!!!

Crete is a bit like 'coming home' for me and Palia Porta is now part of
that. I'm leaving with sadness in my heart but I also look towards the
future because one thing is for sure: I will return to this paradise and

We found out about you via the internet and weren’t quite sure what to expect. When we got here it was far more beautiful and pleasant than we could imagine. Thank you for this unforgettable holiday, the good food (and so much of it), the hospitality… We really enjoyed it.
